I Hate Shakespeare

When: July 13th & 14th (River Falls), July 19th-21st (Hudson
Auditions will be held on Thursday, May 16th at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 18th at 1:00 p.m. at the Academy building located at 212 N. Fremont Street, River Falls. A flexible number of men and women are needed, as actors will play multiple roles in this farcical look at some of Shakespeare's plays, including Hamlet, MacBeth, and Romeo & Juliet. Prairie Fire Children's Theatre presents "Robin Hood"

When: Friday, July 26th at 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 27th at 2 p.m.

Where: New Location - Abbott Concert Hall in the Kelinpell Fine Arts Building on the UWRF campus

Audition information: Pre-registration will guarantee participation for the first 70 to sign up. Auditions will determine roles in the production. If pre-registration does not reach 70, additional children may audition on 7/22. Participation for day-of registrants will be based on auditions and the number of spots available (fees will be paid if cast in a role). Pre-registration is available through the River Falls Parks & Rec Department.

Fee: $25/week; $20 for additional children in family & R.F.C.T. members. Due on the first day of workshop; Make checks payable to R.F.C.T. If pre-registration is done through River Falls Parks & Rec, there will be an additional $5 processing fee.

Age requirement: ages 7-18 **Must be able to attend all rehearsals and performances. Up to 70 participants will be allowed**
