AUDITIONS for 'A Christmas Carol' Radio Play
The River Falls Community Theatre is seeking actors who can create characters with their voices to audition for some roles in an old-time radio production of 'A Christmas Carol.' This version of the classic Charles Dickens tale was adapted by Orson Welles and originally broadcast on Christmas Even, 1939 as part of the Campbell Theater Playhouse.
Auditions will be held Monday, November 3rd and Tuesday, November 4th from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the community theatre's offices in the River Falls Academy building located at 211 N. Fremont Street. Those auditioning will read from the script. No stage or radio experience is necessary. Note: We're also seeking a person to create and operate sound effects.
November rehearsals will be scheduled for evenings and the occasional Sunday night or Saturday morning. Performances will be Friday & Saturday, December 5th, 6th, 12th and 24th in the River Falls Public Library's community room.
